Evolutions

Hi everyone welcome to the Evolutions Blog!

Evolutions is a live music project . . . currently working as “Evolutions featuring Luisa” . . . a collaboration between Evolutions (which is Chris writing music live, formerly called “Evolutions-from-the-void”) and the vocalist Luisa.

We currently create live music in genres including chill-out/lounge/ambient, hip-hop, drum&bass, house, fusions of these, plus some unclassifiable musical styles

As many of our fans have said, the energy projected by actually writing the music live on stage is unlike anything possible when playing already-written music.

The name “evolutions” comes from the way Chris works . . . creating (writing) music live using an evolutionary process where each sound influences what comes next. Luisa fits well with this real-time approach, blending original or adapted vocals with Chris’s spontaneous sonic creations.
